Howden appoints CEO of German operations

After more than three decades with Allianz, Holger Schaefer moved to the international insurance broker Howden.

In September, Schaefer will take on the role of Managing Director of Howden in Germany. His imminent arrival follows recent CEO appointments for Switzerland and Europe. It will also mark Schaefer’s return to his home country, having previously worked in Hong Kong, Australia, the US and the UK.
