McIntosh has extensive property and casualty experience and over 10 years of experience in workers’ compensation underwriting, as well as managing program administration since his time at KRM Risk Management , a family-run MGA based in Southern California.
In 2012, McIntosh decided to leave KRM to work on the retail side at Barney & Barney (now MMA) and move into a marketing role. The new role was a challenge and inspired him to continue his education in insurance.

All of this has brought me to where I am today, which I couldn’t be happier about.
McIntosh also specializes in alternative risks, with an emphasis on captives, self-insurance and large deductible programs. He has earned the professional designations of Underwriting Associate, Executive Liability Insurance Specialist, Cyber and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist.
